B'nai Shalom (Children of Peace) is an organization of Mormons and Jews. The Mormons are members of The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints who recognize and share a common Jewish heritage or have an interest and love for the Jewish People and their culture. Within the framework of existing LDS programs, B'nai Shalom promotes greater understanding of Jewish culture, heritage and traditions, and encourages, assists and promotes Jewish genealogy.

B'nai Shalom is NOT an official organization of the Church and is NOT sponsored by the Church in any way. This web site is not owned, controlled by or affiliated with the above church. All research and opinions are the sole responsibility of members of B'nai Shalom, and are not official statements of Church doctrine, belief or practice.

The next gathering is Thursday, March 31, 2011, 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, at the historic first stake center, 142 West 200 North in Salt Lake City. More about location, and entrance point.. Keynote Speaker Daniel Rona. He has arranged a presentation that will include a LIVE FEED showing the Western (Wailing) Wall in Jerusalem at night. He will give some unique Jewish/LDS insights as only Daniel can! Jewish genealogy & identity is what B'nai Shalom is all about. Arrive promptly and stay for socializing and the annual dinner. Invite freinds, Your contribution to the traditional potluck is welcome.
