What is "B'nai Shalom - Jews and Latter-day Saints"? It is officially organized as Bnai Shalom, Children of Peace, .org as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It started with a kitchen discussion in 1967 in Utah and has grown to over 1200 members world wide.
We fully support the doctrine and authorities of the Church. We seek to bring together members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints who have Jewish heritage or who are interested in the cultural and spiritual connections between the Jewish and The Church of Jesus Christ o Latter-day Saints faiths. We have semi-annual gatherings and other methods of sharing relevant faith promoting background information supportive of the Church and testimonies of the Restoration.
Organization has no affiliation with the Church, does not represent the
Church, receives no support from the Church, is not sanctioned by the
Church in any way; therefore, its actions cannot be attributed to the
Church. No Officer, Director, or member shall proselytize or act in any
way that may be construed as having the purpose of proselytizing of
descendants of Abraham in the State of Israel.
